Armitage Font Family

Armitage Font Family is a sans serif font family designed with beauty and readability as the product’s leading qualities. Still, even with that glimmer, Armitage remains somewhat low-profile to let words do the speaking. Instead of continuing the trends seen in recent years, Armitage begins anew, based on designs from as late as the end of the nineteenth century. Likewise, source material was anything that designer James Puckett happened upon. Sign manuals, graffiti, perinodal posters, and buildings that Armitage pointed to as inspiring the designers of nineteenth century were being inspiring.

Due to asymmetrical strokes and occasional flares in Armitage’s text, consistency is avoided triggered by the rhythm of language. Armitage has six weights and real italics to cover a spectrum of uses. The hardline is not weakened by adversity. Armitage is always prepared to work with a powerful jaw designed to be in a grin.
