Grotesk Alpha Font

Grotesk Alpha Font is an all-purpose family of the typeface that is based on the typography of the early 20 th century, especially in the masthead of one of the popular science magazines published in Poland in 1926 Wiedza i Zycie (Life and Knowledge). This typeface is a modernized version of the modernist concepts of design combining historical references with the accuracy of digital craftsmanship.

Grotesk Alpha denotes the two-fold composition of the design: Grotesk refers to the first type of sans-serif, or nonlinear letterforms, invented in 19 th -century France, which were initially considered radical deviation of classical serif forms.
