Operetta is a new-didone typeface family that was based on Bodoni, Didot and Walbaum (18th to 19th century). Besides this heritage, Operetta’s design is in line with the current taste and typesetting requirements. The five optical sizes allow you to adjust the font’s readability on different sizes. Eight weights from Extra Light to Extra Bold let you set your tone: from the delicate to the exuberant. Operetta is a friendly typeface with an extensive character set and advanced OpenType features which can satisfy the most demanding layout requirements.
Besides, do not overlook the swashes, arrows and other supplementary glyphs (919 per style)! The number in the font family name is actually a minimum size (in points) that should be used for print design. In web design the lowest value is multiplied by 3/2 for a retina screen, and it is multiplied by 2 for a 72 dpi screen. However its rendering depends on printing support, screen resolution, hinting support etc.
