Oasis a British rock which begin to perform in Manchester in the year 1991. The band comprised of Liam Gallagher and his brother Noel Gallagher and number of others during the time. Britpop was more about Britain and rock music, and so, in the mid-1990s, Oasis stepped into the lime light as the band which represented this movement. Their music was basically classic rock type music combined with good hooks and big chorus sections and powerful choruses and the band was very dynamic live.
Some of the bands hit songs including Wonderwall, Dont Look Back in Anger and Champagne Supernova. The band saw many problems in terms of internal dynamics over the years and finally dissolved in 2009. Even if their work was relatively short, Oasis made a contribution to British rock music and to this date people listen to their songs.
