Despite the fact that the varieties of the letters are equivalent to those of Museo, the blunt serifs of Museo Slab are a little bit for a longer period and therefore are frequently not rounded wherever they be part of the upstroke, but stand at correct angles to it.
Along with other serifs, Buivenga has not only managed to enhance the specific mother nature of the serif font, but has as a result supplied Museo Slab a far more formal and austere kind in comparison with that of Museo.
