JVNE W.Modern Gothic Display This Font, by Bauer and originally known as Weiss Initials Extra Bold and Weir Modern Gothik back then, has been greatly improved digitally. Based on Emil Rudolf Weir’s Ndeg2 design from Weir Initialen Ndeg2, it has now undergone considerable upgrades.
Unfortunately this beauty was later abandoned while other sister typefaces such as Friz Quadrata or Serif Gothic experienced revival – I can only hope that its existence continues for another generation of use – enjoy your new life.
