Just Do It is the trademark slogan for Nike shoe company. First coined during a meeting of an advertising agency in 1988, Dan Wieden of Wieden+Kennedy credits Gary Gilmore’s last words – “Let’s Do It”- as his source for creating it as “Just Do It”.

Between 1988 and 1998 Nike increased their North American domestic sports-shoe sales from 18% up to 43%.
