IKEA is a Swedish company that deals in the production of furniture that is easy to assemble such as beds, desks, book shelves among others. The name IKEA is an acronym derived from the founder’s name Ingvar Kamprad, the farm on which he grew up, Elmtarvd and his home village Agunnaryd. The Ikea furniture is quite popular among young people because of its stylish design and relatively low price.
The current IKEA logo was created using Ikea Sans by Robin Nicholas, a font akin to seriffed Futura. The Ikea Sans is not a font that is accessible to the general public. A free font that you may use instead would be Futurapress.
