The DIN Next Typeface was long considered desirable but inaccessible due to its limited widths and weights, making it less useful. Though its timeless design remains, modern uses required something more versatile; thus the birth of DIN Next as a sans Serif Family was necessary. Akira Kobayashi refined this version further by rounding off previously squared-off corners to humanize it; making the DIN design even more accessible than before!
A Kira Kobayashi designed DIN for traffic signs and technical documents but the later revised it into DIN Next family which became accessible as ever!
