Area is a geometric font family inspired by architecture. This font family features two widths Standard and Extended with matching italics as well as two styles, Normal and Inktrap available with matching italics. Variable technology was employed to produce this dynamic system of fonts. Area was created just like any piece of architecture would with modular geometrical structures.
The Envelope gradually opens into an undulating more neo grotesque surface that provides a solid reading experience. Area ink traps are far from ornamental instead they were designed from A-Z with stability in mind, even when situations call for smaller text.
