Cagney Features a modern grotesque with humanist touches. Drawing inspiration from Egyptian styles of the 19th century, she achieves an unexpected effect by mixing heavy and light strokes off-track angles and outsized ball terminals into her art work. Deep cuts and ink traps combine to produce an eye-catching typeface but still adapts well with modern situations.
Cagney is one such font which combines human subtleties with past imperfections this font includes seven weights each matched with its respective italic version totaling over 900 characters for each style. OpenType includes fourteen number variations including tabular lining and circled styles as well as inferiors and superiors. Additionally the font contains alternate uppercase F and E and lowercase letters A through Z along with small caps support for Western Southern and Central European languages.
