Basis Grotesque Pro Font

Basic Grotesque Pro was designed by Anthony Sheret and Edd Harrington at Colophon Foundry. First created as a custom font for photography magazine Hotshot in 2012, later expanded for commercial release as an available font in 2015. Inspired by early grotesques but incorporating some peculiarities for what Colophon refers to as a more “well-behaved and shaped” look; basis Grotesque comes in five weights each featuring matching italics; one monospaced weight is also included for use.
