The Wheeling Nailers organization is a professional ice hockey team located in Wheeling, WV and associated directly with both Pittsburgh Penguins (NHL) and Wilkes-Barre Scranton Penguins in the AHL too. Monotype released Eagle Bold lettering on the market as their own version of the Charles Stanley font design by Morris Fuller Benton.
It is said that “the quality of the letters in their development fits our classical taste for type design”.
