Samsung has emerged as one of the fastest-growing conglomerates. Comprised of South Korean family businesses, this global organization is best known as an innovator and manufacturer of high-tech products. Prior to his current position, Mr. Samsung worked in manufacturing food products, exporting fish, developing textile industries and selling real estate.
Since his tenure began, Samsung has seen many changes both to their logo and the details of their business; their current logo stands out as an excellent example of successful rebranding efforts. Attained through strategic marketing campaigns and large-scale promotional events, its success was made possible.
Both its color scheme and font had been completely revamped since previous versions. For instance, “SAMSUNG” now uses fonts similar to DDT Cond SemiBold and Helvetica Black with clear lines, multiple angles and no serifs; special mention should also be made of its letter “A,” composed of only two diagonal strokes.
