Foundry Old Style Font

Foundry Old Style was the inaugural typeface released by The Foundry. Drawing inspiration from Nicolas Jensen’s incunabula fonts, its letterforms were first drawn as calligraphy before being finalized into drawings with the intention of maintaining their structure and freedom of form in final drawing.

This contemporary rendition of transitional roman was intended as text font with limited weight range to suit good book work; its versatility allows it to contrast nicely against and complement Foundry Sans.
