Irpin Type Font Family

Irpin Type is an original font created for the city of Irpin. It is designed for everyday usage, such as books, logos and corporate style. It can also be employed in posters and presentations where a confident character is needed. This font is for a bigger print, but it also has good readability in the smaller one. This is a contemporary slab serif with geometry elements, which was influenced by the Ukrainian avant-garde of the 20th century. It has the peculiarity of “G”, “a”, and “u” letters alternating with each other, also there is a special sign which stands for both these two languages.

Irpin is a city of Ukraine that lies in the suburbs of Kyiv. On the 24th of March, 2022, by the Decree of the President of Ukraine for celebrating mass heroism and resilience which was shown in defense of their cities during repulsion to armed aggression from Russia against Ukraine, Now it is known as “The Hero City” gravely.
