Averta PE Font Family was designed by Kostas Bartsokas to highlight clear geometric shapes with even strokes. Inspired by the constructed grotesques popular in Central Europe during the early twentieth century, Averta features open apertures and alternate characters, such as a two-story and a double-sloped ‘g’, which are often seen in Anglo-American gothics.
These details give the typeface a warm and inviting personality. With nine weights ranging from extra-thin to black, Averta is a highly versatile font family.
