BC Novatica is a flexible sans serif typeface originally created in 2007 for the Czech commercial TV station Noava and currently released by Briefcase Typeface Foundry. Constructed on the visible traditional grotesque typefaces, it offers subtle designs that give it a unique yet highly readable character. Features like a slightly irregular single-storey “a,” uniform proportions and ink traps add clarity and personality.
This family has 10 styles from Light to Bold with similar italics. It also has an extensive glyph set that supports both Cyrillic and Latin scripts. This font is suited for editorial design, branding, corporate communication, broadcast media, and user interfaces.
