Bucklane Script Font

Bucklane Script Font is a huge retro font made by Mans Greback and recalling the antique design with the contemporary update. The lines are thick and smooth and marry the formality of the ancient handwriting with the swagger of a vintage logotype. It has ornamental swashes, the bold letterforms of the uppercase and it lends personality to a word, whether it has been used to carve upon a whiskey barrel or illuminated in a marquee.

The design is reminiscent of mid 20th century sign painting, but with a modern edged touch that makes it believable and new. Lower case letters are readable but still emulate the decorative vigor of the capital letters, with the result that a coherent beat moves throughout whatever text is read.
