Libre Clarendon Font

Libre Clarendon is comprised of an integrated and full Clarendon family. It offers a choice of weights and width that is ample and purposefully chosen, for it is applicable for both text and display kinds of usage in all sorts of constructions. Libre Clarendon has 20 styles: four widths: Condensed, Narrow, Normal, Wide each of them in five weights: Light, Regular, Medium, Bold and Black. Though closely resembling the type called Besleys Clarendon or as it was originally known Fann Street Foundry Clarendon 1874, Libre Clarendon is slightly different.

It preserved the almost monoline look in it, but grew out to become a full blown multi-axis family. It is, therefore, not reminiscent of the highly contrasting Hass/Stempel Clarendon version that so many digital type foundries have previously digitized.
